My name is Peter Farago, I’m from Gyor, Hungary, a 35-year-old guy who, unlike people usually do, started to teach myself to be a graphic designer at the age of 18, instead of gaining a high-level professional knowledge in school.
Since then, I still work for a graphic studio of a printing company.
In the last 15 years, I stroke up many things that are related to computers in any ways: cut videos, made music, edited rock-related magazines, programmed in countless languages, created flash animations, worked as a sound engineer, whatsoever.
Recently, I decided to try myself out in an activity which I was always interested in, but never had time for besides my other businesses.
I grew weary of always looking at pictures taken by others and not being able to record what I mean and the way I want. I found it boring to work with stolen pictures that often are not capable to work up with and to build up a castle out of crap. That’s why I started to take photos.
This new and exciting area is where I found the chance to express myself, where I can act regardless to others’ expectations.
By taking my own photos I can help my work and reflect things I see from my point of view.
That’s how much I could afford from the very beginning in 3 years. :)
Gear: Canon EOS 450D, Canon EFs 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS II, Canon EF 70-200 f/4L IS USM.
